Ride some of the best roads and gravel the Willamette Valley has to offer.

NEXT EVENT: β€œWELCOME BACK BEN” RIDE!

In case you didn’t catch it on FB/IG/Strava…

Join us for a special social ride Sunday, July 13 at 9AM, rolling out from Independence's Riverview Park, to celebrate the return of our good friend, Ben Handrich, after completing one of the most iconic bikepacking routes, the Tour Divide!

He crushed the 2,712-mile route in 15 days, 14 hours, 56 minutes (roughly 175mi/day!!!), and finished near the front of the pack in spot #12 amongst an international field!

There's only so much that can be squeezed in here, so come out for the ride for a first-hand take from Ben (or check out some of the breakdown on his Strava). We will leave specifically from the Riverview Park main parking lot down by the river and do a mixed-terrain route out to Baskett Slough. After the ride, we'll head out for a bite in town for those who'd like to stick around.

The route will be shared by Friday 7/11. We will take a group photo before the ride. Be prepared to sign a waiver on Sunday morning. Bring a friend. Get inspired. Follow us on social media for the latest. Hope to see you there!

Please Keep in Mind

We are excited you want to enjoy the beautiful country roads and stretches of gravel in our area! Before you head out, we want you to be mindful of your safety. You are essentially a vehicle out there, and you need to obey the same rules of the road as vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and pay extra attention to the forecast, as things can turn quickly in the PNW. Pack plenty of hydration and don’t forget the munchies. We hope you have a great ride!

Why Independence?

A place where the solitude and beauty of the Willamette River is a short walk away from a vibrant Main Street filled with history. Where farm to table is a way of life, not a trend. Where year round events provide opportunities to escape for the day or a long weekend.
